Hey everybody! What do you think of the new site? Cool, eh?!
We need your participation… We need your pictures of magnets that you have on your fridge (for fridge friday) and magnets that you find in the streets (for magnet monday)!!Email any images you have and we’ll post them on our site!! Hook it up people! We love all of you-
Pronounced peh-chaw-koo-chaw… We had a hard time figuring out how to say Pecha Kucha for the last month, but we finally learned the right way last night. Saying it fast is pretty fun!Â
We presented a slideshow about the Magnet Mafia at the Buntport Theater alongside 9 other people from varying creative backgrounds.

The concept, originally from Japan, is based on a 20 x 20 format. 20 slides displayed for 20 seconds each. It’s a quick and informal way of communicating ideas to an audience, and it’s pretty effective!
Â
We made a ton of good contacts, hopefully for future collaborations. Everyone was really excited to hear about the Mafia! We’ll definitely be spectators at the next one…
If you’re interested in presenting at the next Pecha Kucha Night in Denver, visit their website:Â www.pechakuchanightdenver.com or contact Angela and Jaime at pechakuchadenver@gmail.com.
If you aren’t in Denver, visit the main Pecha Kucha site: www.pecha-kucha.org, you can look up the cities where this program is already active…
Hey everybody! So hopefully you notice the site has a new layout… It’s sorta hard to miss! We’re taking the focus off of the blog and going more for a user-friendly website. Apparently blogs aren’t the most fun to navigate, so sorry about that! We dig the new layout and it’s going to allow us to share more with all of you… For those of you that subscribe to our blog through RSS feed, please resubscribe now! It’s free!
It’s magnet monday. But where’s the magnets you ask? Well, we’re going to be sharing them with a bunch of people tonight at a group presentation called Pecha Kucha Night! We’ll be presenting a slideshow of 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide, explaining in detail what the Mag/Maf is all about…  Stop by and listen to us and all of the other featured creative types speak! It’ll be fun. Be there by 8pm-
it’s time for a site revamp…Â look out for major alterations in the next 24hrs!
we got this photo last night from andrew! thanks man!! good job recycling those phonebook mags…

there’s a new gallery on 8th and Santa Fe called Icelantic. They actually make ski’s, but they’re really into art. Since first friday got sidestepped for the 4th of July, they’re showing tonight! Come see the work of a few of Denver’s finest tonight from 6-10pm, 948 W 8th Ave.
