there’s a new gallery on 8th and Santa Fe called Icelantic.  They actually make ski’s, but they’re really into art.  Since first friday got sidestepped for the 4th of July, they’re showing tonight!  Come see the work of a few of Denver’s finest tonight from 6-10pm, 948 W 8th Ave.

i was a little late getting to the creatures crew artshow at newspeak last saturday.  the party was pretty much over, but the doors were still open, and the art was still on the walls…

creatures consists of a lot of heavy hitters in the graff scene.  artists like ikon, act, jher, vogues, vomet, tazer, taste, baer and a list of other heads rep hard and with amazing style.

i think by far the craziest pieces of art in the show were baer’s dimensional graffiti characters…  this picture doesn’t do these pieces any justice because this artwork is SICK!  he also painted the main wall inside the shop, it’s awesome too.  it sounds like i’m really jocking baer’s work, right?  that’s probably because i am, he’s fresh, and i have no shame.
